The study rules of the University “Vitez” are in compliance with the Bologna principles. Studies are organised in three cycles:
- The first cycle of study lasting three years- 180 ECTS credits (60 ECTS credits per academic year). Upon completion, students are awarded an academic title of Bachelor with reference to a specialisation. Exceptionally, the Faculty of Law organises the first cycle of studies lasting three years (180 ECTS credits) and four years (240 ECTS credits).

- The second cycle of studies lasting two years- 120 ECTS credits. Upon completion, students are awarded with an academic title of Master with reference to a specialisation.

- The third cycle of studies lasting three years-180 ECTS credits; doctoral studies including two semesters (one academic year) of lectures, two years of dissertation research and writing, and a successful dissertation defence awarded 120 ECTS credits.
