Examinations are organised in accordance with Chapter VI Examinations and Grading of the Rules of the First Cycle of Studies:
- Students may take an examination in a subject taught during the second semester without having passed all first- semester examinations;
- Students may enrol in the second year of study without having passed all first-year examinations. However, in order to take examinations in subjects taught in the second year of study, students must pass all first-year examinations.
- Students may enrol in the third year of study without having passed all second-year examinations. However, in order to take examinations in subjects taught in the third year of study, students must pass all second-year examinations.
- Students take an examination in a subject by accumulating points on the basis of nine elements. Accumulated points are automatically converted into grades.
