University “VITEZ” Vitez offers the wide variety of graduate and postgraduate programmes.
Graduate studies are organized as interactive, instructive and consultative studies. Examinations of compulsory and elective subjects are conducted in the presence of subject teachers.
Graduate studies (the second study cycle) are realized as the fourth and fifth year of study where the writing and defense of master’s thesis is included. Graduate studies may be organized in association with other universities.
Postgraduate studies (the third study cycle) are realized as the fifth, sixth and seventh year of study where the writing and defense of doctoral dissertation is included. Doctor of Science is the highest scientific level achieved at the University “VITEZ” Vitez. Doctoral dissertation is an original scientific work of doctoral candidates in the relevant scientific field.
The University Senate appoints the Council for Graduate and Postgraduate Studies. The Council has six members. Council members are full and associate teachers involved in the teaching process at the University. Tasks of the Council are to conduct preliminary proceedings and to coordinate educational, scientific and research processes of graduate and postgraduate studies. In this way, the education process is efficient and prompt, and provides the credibility and quality of graduate and postgraduate studies.
