About University
The University “Vitez” is accredited higher education institution in a private ownership, founded in 2005. The university’s offer includes various Bachelor, Master’s, MBA’s as well as Ph.D. programs at following Faculties:
- Faculty of Business Economics
- Faculty of Business Informatics
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Health Care
There are 33 full professors; 30 associate professors; 40 assistant professors and 36 visiting professors educating around 1000 students. CIRCLE International is housed at The University of Vitez, offering master and doctoral study in English. Up till now University has promoted 1650 bachelors, 152 masters of science and granted 9 PhD degrees.
Faculty of Business Economics has organised three international conferences under the name “Economic System of European Union and Accession of the Bosnia and Herzegovina” more information – and initiated and organised student’s conferences SKEI at regional level (universities from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina). more information.
About Travnik
University is located in Travnik, capital city of the Central Bosnia Canton, Bosnia and Hercegovina. Travnik was the capital of the Ottoman vizier from the year 1686 to the year 1850 and part of its cultural heritage is dating back to that period. It is surrounded by mountain Vlasic, one of the highest mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with an altitude of 1943 meters. It is one of the most famous centers of winter tourism and higher education center of Central Bosnia Canton. Travnik is the hometown of Ivo Andric, writer, and diplomat, winner of Nobel Prize for Literature in the year 1961.
